Merry Christmas! - Version 0.3!


Merry Christmas everyone!

I've been busy this year since Version 0.2 released earlier this year, moving houses, some unfortunate family related issues, and working on other projects. I still had some content for this game that I wanted to add, so my gift to you this year is a content update for Drawing with Nat: Dream Diary. 

Versions 0.3 contains some new worlds, reworks to older worlds and a handful of bug fixes.

Heres the full patchnotes for everything thats been changed!

DEBUG

-----------------

- Added a new setting to toggle the area names.


Worlds and areas

-----------------

[Snow World] (NEW)

- New world that connects to Bone World and the Lamp Paths.

- Contains a new Drawing.


[Blue Dunes & Alexe's Dump] (New)

- Expansion on Alexe's dump area. It connects to Alexe's dump, Berry Woods and the Printed Paths.

- Alexe's dump is now a sub area of the Blue Dunes, it also still connects to the Sewers.

- Removed some unnecessary event collissions and replaced them with tiles in Alexe's dump. (This should help with performance).

- Alexe's dump sub area has been increased in size.

- Added the unused road to this area.

- Contains a New Drawing.


[Berry Woods]

- The area has been greatly expanded.

- Added new log bridges have been added that connect to surrounding islands.

- Added some small pools and rivers to split the world up a bit more.

- Removed some unnecessary event collissions and replaced them with tiles. (This should help with performance).

- Added a bench to the world.


[Lamp Paths]

- Rearranged the layout of the world and split it into multiple small worlds.

- Warps to connecting worlds now have a unique surrounding and different coloured lamp tied to them.

- The object to obtain the Lamp form is now a floating Lamp that moves around.

- Added a vending machine.


[Owl Folk World]

- The Statues in this world now glow.

- Added new tiles to the area.

- Removed some unnecessary event collissions and replaced them with tiles (This should help with performance).


[Crossroads]

- The whole area has been removed and reworked.

- Now accessible as a mini area as a secret Eye door location.

- The drawing tied to the Crossroads has been removed.


[Plaza]

- World has been increased in size.

- New patterns and tiles have been added.

- Added Telephone poles as decorations.


[Arcade basement]

- The basement maze has been split into two areas. (This should help with performance).

- Some smaller boxes have been added to the basement maze.


[Eraser World]

- Added a new tile.

- Added an eye door to the world.

- Moved "Blonko" to this area. (Was previously in Pattern World).

- Removed some unnecessary event collissions and replaced them with tiles (This should help with performance).


[Boneworld]

- Added a little eye graphic to the roof outside of the Eye man's house.

- Removed some unnecessary event collissions and replaced them with tiles (This should help with performance).


[Nexus]

- Added a locked door sound to the Debug room when the code isn't enabled.


[Queen Square]

- Layout has been slightly altered.


[Glow World]

- Warp to the Lamp Paths replaced with a lamp instead of a telephone pole.

- Added some new additional tiles to the area.


[Hermit Pyramids]

- Removed some unnecessary event collissions and replaced them with tiles (This should help with performance).

- The Dark room is now a straight corridor to the Red room and is much smaller.

- Added unused background to the area.


[Red World]

- Now has a one way connection to Queen's Square instead of Eraser World.


[Desktop World]

- Added some new decorations.


[Underhalls]

- Added a vending machine.


[Sandy Statues]

- Removed some unnecessary event collissions and replaced them with tiles (This should help with performance).


[Sugary Treats World]

- Removed some unnecessary event collissions and replaced them with tiles (This should help with performance).


[Yellow Moon]

- Removed some unnecessary event collissions and replaced them with tiles (This should help with performance).


Drawings

-----------------

- Added two new drawings, one for Blue Dunes and one for Snow World.

- Removed the Crossroads drawing.

- Changed the Eye door drawing to a secret drawing. (Meaning it is not required for game completion).


Bug fixes

-----------------

- Fixed the Blonko event interactions being tied to a scrapped Form.

- Fixed the shadow on the benches being slightly too dark.

- Fixed the shadows on the trees in Alexe's dump being too dark.

- Fixed some tiles in Queen's Square being slightly misplaced.

- Fixed the Queen's Square event from concluding correctly.

- Fixed a possible issue where the structure in the Plaza was layered incorrectly.

- Fixed interacting with the TV disabling forms temporarily.

- Fixed incorrect footstep sounds being used in the Halls Garden area.

- Fixed rare instance where the sewers BG SFX would continously play.

- Fixed a visual bug during the ending cutscene.

- Fixed being able to duplicate the Printed Paths drawing.

- Fixed a visual bug where Nat would appear for a few frames off screen when selecting a floor in the elevator.
